…the ancient name for the Peninsula that includes Portugal and Spain. The name came from its early settlers, the Iberians. Even today, we recognize the Iberian Peninsula as the territory from the eastern part of Spain to the far coast of Portugal.

…é o nome atribuído à Península que compreende Portugal e Espanha. O nome vem dos primeiros habitantes, os Iberos, e ainda nos nossos dias, continua a designar toda a area localizada desde a parte Leste de Espanha até à Costa de Portugal.
